With over 18 years of experience in finance, Jenny is an expert in guiding privately held companies, private equity firms and family offices through the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and growth financings. As a key member of the Charter team, she leverages her extensive network and private equity expertise to support the firm's growing middle-market transaction advisory and investment banking practice.
Throughout her career, Jenny has been instrumental in all facets of transaction and relationship lending — from sourcing and underwriting to negotiating and closing. Her experience spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, industrial and business services, distribution, furniture, and financial services. She is known for developing creative, tailored financial solutions that address the unique challenges of the M&A process.
Before joining Charter Capital, Jenny was a Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank in its National Sponsor Finance Group. There, she provided leveraged transactions to middle-market companies with EBITDA between $3 million and $50 million. Prior to that, she spent 13 years in Chicago, where she held various finance leadership roles, primarily at CIBC Bank. During this time, she focused on business development for traditional C&I and Private Equity Leverage Lending transactions.
Jenny is dedicated to her community, serving on the Board of the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan and as an active member of ACG Western Michigan and the Economic Club of Grand Rapids. She holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.
