Crystal Flash Energy, a Grand Rapids-based energy distribution company, has purchased the home heat division of Brenner Oil Group, a Holland-based fuel distributor. Nearly 2,500 Brenner customers – roughly one-quarter of them commercial – will become Crystal Flash customers as a result. “We have established a long-term relationship with our home heat customers and feel the transition for them to Crystal Flash as a service provider will be seamless,” said Co-President Doug Brenner of Brenner Oil. With the support of The Charter Group, Crystal Flash has acquired eight Michigan companies since January 2012.
