Charter opens new downtown Detroit office

August 3, 2015 – PR Newswire

Charter Capital Partners, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based investment banking firm focused on buy, sell and capital raise transactions, today announced the opening of a new office in downtown Detroit, Michigan.

This new Detroit office now brings the firm’s total locations to four, three within the state of Michigan and one office in Indiana. Charter’s Detroit office will work closely with all Charter offices, providing focused service and support for the firm’s existing client base on the east side of Michigan, while also offering a base of operations to support continued growth and development throughout the region.

The new office at 1420 Broadway Street is located at the intersection of Grand River and Broadway. It is situated in an entirely urban environment and is within walking distance of Comerica Park, Campus Martius, Greektown and the Detroit Athletic Club.

“The greater Detroit area is a fast growing and important market for Charter Capital, and this move will significantly increase our ability to efficiently serve our clients here,” said John Kerschen, Managing Director, Charter Capital Partners. “We sought a location that was convenient for our clients and team members, fit with our corporate culture, allowed us to streamline collaboration with other Detroit-based professional advisors and, importantly, presented an opportunity to grow our existing relationships in the area. We believe we have found a location that meets all of these goals and more, and we look forward to bringing clients and future prospects to our new, downtown Detroit home.”  more
