Charter Capital Partners is proud to announce that we have been included in Axial’s 2017 Advisor 100 List for most referred middle-market advisory firms in the United States, according to a survey of 1,000 private equity firms, strategic acquirers, and family offices. Charter was the only firm in the country to be recognized as a niche specialist in the office furniture industry.

Charter has served contract furniture industry clients for more than 25 years, closing transactions spanning OEMs, component suppliers, dealers, national manufacturers and leading brands. In 2013 we launched a dedicated furniture practice, leveraging our deep investment banking knowledge, furniture industry understanding and relationships to generate the best outcomes for our clients.

Our contract furniture industry practice is led by Andrew Williams, CExP, CM&AA. Andrew offers operational industry expertise, having spent a decade as COO of a home furnishings manufacturer, with involvement in markets including NeoCon, Dallas, Las Vegas, and High Point. As an M&A advisor, he has worked with contract furniture manufacturers on sell-side and acquisition transactions as well as valuations and succession planning.

Serving as advisor to the practice is Charley Vranian, a furniture-industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in business management and leadership, including more than two decades with Herman Miller.
