Ashley supports company leadership through performing company and industry research, developing technical financial models, and analyzing financial data for M&A, capital raise, and venture capital engagements. She is also responsible for providing the owners of closely held businesses with valuation services, and has aided in the completion of business valuations in various industries for companies ranging in size from one location with annual revenue of $1 million to multiple locations and divisions with annual revenue exceeding $190 million.
Ashley joined Charter in 2014 from Mercantile Bank, where she was a Senior Credit Analyst, responsible for a team of credit analysts and analyzed financial statement trends, credit data, potential risks of industry, and other information, to determine the quality of a borrower.
Ashley holds a BBA in Finance, a BBA in Accounting, and an MBA from Grand Valley State University. She is the Programming Chair for the Women in Finance committee of the Association for Corporate Growth, and is a member of Inforum West Michigan.
